British Council Newton-Katip Çelebi Fund Example of Successful Project

A project titled “Perception of and Attitude towards Syrian Refugees in Turkey” conducted by Assoc. Prof. Banu Kavaklı, faculty member at AU School of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and Director of AU Graduate School of Social Sciences, as part of British Council Newton-Katip Çelebi Fund has been selected as an example of Successful Project.

TUBİTAK Special Award

Prof. Dr. Oya Alpar, faculty member at AU School of Pharmacy, has been deemed worthy of a TUBITAK Special Award in Health category in 2015.
Conducting pioneering international research in modern methods of vaccination, Prof. Alpar was deemed worthy of special recognition for her outstanding international research in integrating pharmaceutical technology into immunology sciences, and developing the first micro and nanoparticle-based vaccine delivery systems by using different methods in pharmaceutical technology including supercritical fluid technology, lyophilisation, spray drying, high pressure jet homogenizing process.
